What You Put in Your Body Affects Your Health Greatly

I have always been one of those people who could eat whatever they wanted and never gain weight, and due to that fact, I never used to put much thought into what I ate. When I started experiencing health problems, my doctor ordered some tests and found that I was experiencing anemia due to an iron-deficient diet. I am grateful I had this "wake up call" before I continued to eat a bad diet for the rest of my life, because I soon also realized my diet was lacking vitamins and minerals. I changed my eating habits and began to feel much better. I began juicing to take advantage of all of the vitamins and minerals in healthy, fresh juice. I have learned a lot about health during my commitment to leading a healthier lifestyle, so I decided to start a blog to share my health advice with the world!

Get Your Hair Done the Way You Want It

Once you have your face lift performed, it's going to be a while before you can do anything with your hair, including wash it. In fact, you might be waiting several weeks to be able to take care of your hair. If you want a hair cut, or a new color, take care of that a few days before you're scheduled for your procedure. That way, you're hair will be growing out during your recovery, and you'll be ready for a touch up once your doctor gives you the go-ahead. If you wait until after your surgery, your hair may be out of control, and your roots may be noticeable, which will completely offset the appearance of your new face lift.

Invest in Some Extra Pillows

You're not going to be able to sleep flat on your back for a while after your face lift. For at least the first few weeks, you'll need to sleep with your head propped up with pillows, or in a recliner. If you don't have a recliner, you'll want to invest in some extra pillows. Lying flat on your back during recovery will increase the swelling in your face, which will delay the healing process, and leave you feeling uncomfortable. Plan on sleeping propped up during your entire recovery period.

Enlist the Help of a Few Close Friends

Once you're home from the hospital, you're not going to feel like doing much at all. However, you'll still need to eat, and take care of your personal needs. That's where your close friends and family members come in to action. Enlist the help of a few close friends and family members to come in and help you out for those first few days after the procedure. Even if they're just there to lend moral support, and to prepare your meals, you'll appreciate the help.
