About Me

What You Put in Your Body Affects Your Health Greatly

I have always been one of those people who could eat whatever they wanted and never gain weight, and due to that fact, I never used to put much thought into what I ate. When I started experiencing health problems, my doctor ordered some tests and found that I was experiencing anemia due to an iron-deficient diet. I am grateful I had this "wake up call" before I continued to eat a bad diet for the rest of my life, because I soon also realized my diet was lacking vitamins and minerals. I changed my eating habits and began to feel much better. I began juicing to take advantage of all of the vitamins and minerals in healthy, fresh juice. I have learned a lot about health during my commitment to leading a healthier lifestyle, so I decided to start a blog to share my health advice with the world!

But like all surgical procedures, those performed to correct and improve vision are not a one-size-fits-all solution. Read More

Incidental Finding Of Chiari 1 Malformation After A Head Injury? What You Should Know

Typically, when a head injury from trauma is suspected, a CT scan or MRI of the head and neck is ordered. Sometimes, an incidental finding can be revealed and you'll discover you had a condition that you were not previously aware of and, likely, had no symptoms of. What Are Your Options for Altering Sagging Cheeks?

Are you unhappy with the sagging appearance your cheeks have developed as you've aged? You may feel as though if your cheeks were simply more plump, you would appear about 10 years younger. While there are plumbing creams and lotions available in most pharmacies, these remedies don't do much for sagging cheeks. Here are four more effective options to consider. 1. Dermal Fillers Dermal fillers are solutions that your dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon can inject into your skin to increase its plumpness and fullness. Read More

3 Mistakes To Avoid While You Are Undergoing Physical Therapy Treatments

After suffering from an injury, your doctor may feel that you will benefit from physical therapy to help your muscles heal and to increase your mobility. However, to ensure that the treatment works, make sure you avoid the following mistakes during and in between your therapy sessions. 1.  Skipping Your Sessions If you want your therapy sessions to work, you have to show up to each and every session. If not, you will not only lose out on the exercise advice and evaluations, but you will be less likely to heal as quickly. Read More
